Common questions

Is it really free?

Yes. VersaTrader is free to use with no hidden premium tier — TA tools, paper trading, smart orders are all free. The plan is to keep it this way. Right now the app is in a closed, invite-only beta, so you'll need an invite code to create an account.

Is my API key safe?

Your API keys are encrypted at rest and never stored in plaintext. We recommend using keys with trade-only permissions — no withdrawal access needed.

Which exchanges are supported?

Currently Binance and Bybit, with OKX, KuCoin, Kraken, and Coinbase coming soon. More exchanges on the roadmap.

Can I trade perpetual futures?

You can chart perps and paper-trade them today, for free. Open long or short positions with leverage against real market prices, with simulated funding and liquidation. Live real-money perp trading is rolling out as a VT Pro feature, so paper mode is the way to trade perps right now.
